Economic Society of Australia (ESA)

The Economic Society of Australia (ESA) is a federation of state-based groups with approximately 1,400 members. Its mission is to promote the use and understanding of economics within Australia.

To achieve this, ESA Central Council publishes two journals — Economic Record and Economic Papers — and supports national events such as the Annual Conference of Economists and the Eminent Speaker Series.

About ESA ACT

The ACT Branch of the Economic Society of Australia (ESA) is hosting ACE 2026. ESA ACT is one of the larger branches of the Economic Society, with more than 300 members across a variety of sectors including the public service, academe, private and non-government organisations. Anyone interested in contemporary economic issues and debates is invited to join the ACT Economic Society of Australia.
